As a Lead Painter at Paint of WNY, you will be responsible for training employees according to our standards and procedures, ensuring that all duties are carried out properly and within the prescribed timeframe. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate painting projects from start to finish.
• Efficiently carry out painting-related duties in a professional and workmanlike manner.
• Manage a team of painters and delegate tasks effectively.
• Ensure the quality and timely completion of all painting assignments.
• Train employees according to Paint of WNY Standards and Procedures.
• Conduct on-site assessments and provide accurate project estimates.
• Ensure that all duties are carried out properly and within the prescribed time frame.
• Interact with clients to address their needs and concerns.
• Monitor employee attendance, appearance, language, and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential and commercial painting (minimum of 2 years).
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in surface preparation, coating application, and finishing techniques.
• Understanding of industry best practices and safety standards.
• Knowledge of the proper use of equipment (ladders, lifts, paint sprayers, etc.) and products.
• Ability to keep an accurate account of each employee working on his particular job.
• Ability to perform all painting functions without supervision in a competent, timely manner.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a huge plus.

• Full-time
• Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per year
